August 6, 2012 (to Brian)

Hey Brian :D
Whops so I wrote this a couple weeks ago just never sent it here you go though.

Goodness so my companion for the past 3 days was SUPER sick.  Had a fever of 101.9 degrees and a few other things with that.
His name is Elder Dansie, he was trained 6 months ago by the Elder Smith my former companion in Brandenburg.  Elder Dansie got to see 5 baptisms of people I taught in Brandenburg...lucky bum.  So this week I've caught up with him about the things I missed in Brandenburg while I was gone.  Right after I left they got a brand new 2012 Toyota Corolla.  Its all good though while I was in Owensboro I got to see 6 people get baptized I taught and a few days after I left Owensboro a guy that wanted me to baptize him got dunked...and what is incredible is there are 6 other people in Owensboro I taught that might get baptized within a couple transfers or so.  :D I talked with the Mission President this week and he said he'll be putting in another set of missionaries in Owensboro is a few weeks!

Now days I'm serving in Madison, IN!  Just Jefferson County has 32,000 people and east of us is Switzerland County of which we also cover and only has 10,000 people.  Each day we talk with around 20 strangers and ask them what they know about the church so in 2,000 days the whole area should have met missionaries.  The second day in Madison we tracted into a family that has two incredibly beautiful daughters of God.  10 out of 10's.  I'll cry if they get baptized.  Spiritually they have things going on and intelligence wise so if they make the effort to read the Book of Mormon they should be sold.  Tomorrow we'll eat dinner with their family.  The dad gets along with us well but says he won't join...lol yet.  The girls when we taught the pre-earth life and how families should be together forever and remember each other on the other side they were all for it.

We tracted into a family this week that was so nice.  3 of them came on Sunday ^_^ whoa!

Love you,
Elder Dimter
