Hello my dear family and friends,
This week was time for the Mission President to do interviews with us. We all enjoyed having him at the District meeting and each getting to talk with him. During the time the President was down the Assistants to the Presidents were supposed to come though. They didn't make it though because instead of going to Corydon, IN...they drove to Corbin, KY! Which is 187 miles away! We all had our laughs and then later that night the AP's came to drop off the new phone Elder Eliot and I needed. (our flip phone snapped...)
During this week Elder Eliot and I got to go golfing! Since Elder Eliot is an avid golfer he bet us all but we had a blast. We met some people at the golf course that were so much better than us.
Elder Eliot and I continued to work on building a set of stairs with a member for our service project. (each week as a missionary you are told to do around 4 hours of service). We also went to a thrift store and did service there by cleaning shoes.
Finally my sinus infection is gone.
Oh...so this Friday the high temp was 108 degrees...and then Monday the high was 65 degrees. So the temperature is adjusting to the fall quite quickly. (we've heard that in Louisiana there is a storm that is partially why the weather changed so quick).

p.s. I'm doing well and I am still taking pictures...I just haven't uploaded any in a while. I did put a few on photobucket that show a picture of the area I am serving. (next to the Ohio River...across the river is Indiana)
