October 17, 2011

Lessons learned/remembered for the week:
How important it is to be there for people...(invited to baby shower this week and had a great time)
Have a plan if you get locked out of your house or car...(a member somehow managed to lock themself out of their house)
Bear your testimony to children...(recent convert bore her testimony to her son who is soon to become a deacon...it was so spiritual!)
How much I love running...(ran a two mile race "Run for the Fallen" on the Fort Knox Army Base - I got 16 mins)www.runforthefallen.org/
Sleep makes a world of difference (8 hours makes a difference than 4 hours...)
Music is amazing (listened to a band called Trevor Hall...^_^ and felt so happy/relaxed)
Heavy smokers voices are messed up. (lots of those in Kentucky...)
Its a small world (an Investigator just walked into the library :D...at church yesterday I taught her how to tie a double windsor knot for her husbands tie)
How nice members can be (we were asked if we wanted anything at Walmart/then were taken out to eat at McDonalds)
Tattoos aren't good to have...especially on the face (someone in the library had one and I was totally distracted)
Its a good idea to wear a ring on your ring finger in KY as a missionary in KY so girls "know you aren't available" (I didn't have my ring on for one day and I had a pregnant woman gave me her Facebook/phone number after I smiled at her and said hello.)
CTR!

Love ya'll
