December 12, 2011

Hello Everyone,

This Sunday is going to be a baptism :). The story behind this person is for the past month she has com to church with a member. While at church she attended the Sunday School class Elder Smith and I teach. Anyways so 10 days ago a friend of hers told us that she wants to baptized...and Elder Smith and I were like...say that again. So this past week we taught her outside of Sunday school and let me tell you she was definitely prepared. We went right over the baptismal interview questions in our first visit. The next time we met with her she made us proud since she read on her own. During the visit we went over every lesson. After that we brought up making the baptismal program and she asked me to speak on the topic of baptism. :D

Share the gospel with your friends! Help the missionaries find those who are willing to search ponder and pray about the Book of Mormon...because they will come to find out that the Church of Jesus Christ truly has been restored!

-This week I gave a blessing to a man who was on the ground for an hour with pain in his back...and the next day he went to work.

-The weather is getting REALLY COLD. All the moisture in the air makes you feel even more frozen. While finding people to teach a lady said "why do you boys smile all the time." I answered "ma'am the cold has frozen my face that way"

-We are teaching a number of people that are on their way to baptism. :) The next baptism after this week is possibly an 11 year old girl. Yesterday we made sugar cookies with her and the rest of the family.

-Two women from the ward had their babies this week. :) So the ward now has two new people.

-This week a man from Germany moved into the ward (there is an Army Base in Germany he came from.)

-Ended up getting an Army backpack that has water :). I have really needed to keep hydrated. Elder Smith told me I never see you drink water. Haha I was like you know that is because I don't...hopefully that'll all change.

-Reminder to all you out their..Christmas is about Christ birth. :) Go ahead and read the scriptures.

Love you all,
Elder Dimter

Thank you for everyones love and support.

God bless.
