Hello Family...
I bet you all are wondering how my thanksgiving week went. Well let me tell you it was terrible. Just kidding. Elder Smith and I had a blast. We ate at a number of different members homes throughout the week. On Thanksgiving we only went to one members home though...since we are running low on miles for the month. Of course though after the fact we were given extra miles from other missionaries in our district.
STORIES FROM THE WEEK...(sorry I don't do this more often)
This week we visited a woman we set a baptismal date with while tracting...and met her husband. He let us know we weren't welcome and gave us the Book of Mormon back. Sad stuff.
Elder Smith and I Bible Bashed with a married couple...after sharing scriptures from the Bible to testify about the Plan of Salvation and bearing our testimony about Christ the husband decided he wanted a copy of the Book of Mormon. We will see if he reads/prays/attends church.
Anyways I had a good experience though later...since this week we found a couple women who are considering coming back to church! Yey!
Top story of the week I would say was...a man who hasn't come to church in 12 years took his 8 year old son with him to church! The dad told us his son kept asking questions about Jesus. So he told his son he wanted to take him to the church he grew up in. We were so happy to meet the two of them! They are excited to have us over and talk about the Book of Mormon.
So just a heads up everyone...the computers at the library I'm e-mailing at are not allowing me to go onto photobucket. So I decided I would attach some photos. The story behind some of the photos is :)...Elder Smith and I decided we had to party on 11/11/11 so we drank a Kentucky Ginger soda ale8one. You can research them on this site http://ale8one.com/history They aren't the best soda out there but its a must have being out here on the mission. If you are wondering...yes the Hannah Montana backpack is mine...haha don't ask why I have it. :D.
Anyways hope everyone is having a wonderfull week.
I miss and love ya'll,
Elder Dimter
p.s. don't forget to read the Book of Mormon/pray and go to church.
