Dear Family
This past week seeing Muriel Hehl get baptized and confirmed has brought me a bunch of joy. After she was confirmed we gave her a Priesthood blessing. I am now more fired up to keep teaching a bunch of people to help them accept the gospel. :D. There are a few people that are on the fence of getting baptized...we just have to help build their Faith so they can fully repent and get baptized. One is an 18 year old...needs to quit smoking in order to get baptized. The other is a 17 year old girl trying to get the strength to ask her dad permission to get baptized. We are also teaching a family and encouraging the couple to get married. They have a marriage date for the end of March and they plan on getting baptized in mid April. We'd like to see them get married sooner of course...but I guess getting baptized later is better than never. What is crazy to think is the time they want to get baptized will be the same week as my 21st birthday. The age where I won't consider myself a teen anymore...!
I am stoked this week we saw a guy I taught at a members house that was at the library. He is about 20 and is open about reading the Book of Mormon. We talked about making plans to exercise together and sharing bits of the gospel. I hope to keep in contact with him for a while.
:) Oh so my new companion Elder Smith is getting me even more fired up about missionary work. Him and I are studying together a bunch so we can work the best we can to teach people extremely effectively. We discuss each person and what their needs are to help them out the best way we possibly can. I've grown in my appreciation of the scriptures. Since that is what we teach from.
I am doing great. This week I have enjoyed growing as a missionary a bunch. My companion and I are putting scriptures to share with each person we visit.
Enjoy the pictures I attached :D.
Love you all,
Keep praying for missionary opportunities.
