It is officially 2012! Another year closer to the Second Coming :).
This Saturday to celebrate for New Years Eve my companion Elder Smith and I went over to members home to eat. We ate a whole bunch of pizza and enjoyed a bunch of laughs.
We were also treated to eating Steak for dinner with a member that I feel is like an Uncle to me. I feel very blessed by the members and investigators that we know. They have a real appreciation for us and try getting time with us just as much as we try giving people time to be with them.

Anyways as far as missionary work goes :)...things are going well. We are praying our investigators get a chance to enjoy Sacrament services. Some don't have a car, or time off from work to go, some were asleep on New Years during church...you name it.

A unique highlight of my mission was that I met the "Crazy Lady" of town while knocking doors. She said people call her the Crazy Lady that know her. Anyways this week we saw her at Kroger and I was polite with her. We gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and the Restoration DVD. She ended up watching the DVD and said what she got from the DVD was that she should join none of the churches because that is the answer Joseph Smith got...I smiled and shook my head...she didn't understand that the movie was actually about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith.

I pray that you are all doing well and enjoying the Winter. The snow is starting to really fall in Kentucky and I am starting to freeze while I'm out and about. :) More doors I assume may be opened. That is how our ward mission leader got a chance to speak with missionaries and was taught.
