Hello America ;).
In a couple weeks it will be my 4th month on my mission out in the GKLM - Great Kentucky Louisville Mission!!!
President Steven Glende is keeping Elder Platter and I in Madisonville, KY - "The Best Town on Earth" :)
This will be my Mission Presidents last 7 weeks on his 3 year mission.
Starting next transfer my new Mission President is going to be President Woodbury.
Anyways here was my letter to my Mission President for this week.
"President Glende
This Saturday Elder Platter and I went to the Louisville Temple. While there we did an endowment session with our Ward Mission Leader and his wife. I enjoyed feeling the spirit inside the temple throughout the endowment session. After the session we cleaned the glass and stainless steal throughout the temple. What better place to give service besides being out in the GKLM.
Elder Platter and I this past week were amazed at the amount of people we met who are ready to hear of the gospel. We worked with potential investigators and while doing so picked up new investigators from their family and neighbors. Although some investigators plan on moving to California next month we are excited to see their progress before moving.
This past week an African American woman we've worked with for a while has told us she believes the Book of Mormon to be true. She has made a goal on being baptized as soon as she attends church 3 times. She has yet to attend church though. We are excited though to work with her more as she prepares for baptism.
John is on track for being baptized on June 5th. This Sunday he met with the bishop and is aware of the commitments he'll be making at baptism. This week he has an interview for baptism with the District Leader. We don't see there being any problems arising with John at all and are excited to have him in our ward. Many people of the ward already thought he was a member.
The plans for this week are looking good. Elder Platter are interested to see how the plans will go as we work more with those investigating in our area."
Today my plan is to buy a hair cutting set since I need to cut my hair. I have only cut my hair 3 times since being out. When I get the hair cutting set I'll cut my hair more frequently so I can keep looking clean cut.
Oh, I'll be ordering a couple name badges today.
Love you all,
Elder Dimter
p.s. in the library I do service at they do story time all the time. It is the sweetest thing seeing all these children singing and dancing.
Have a good week mom...<3

Elder Dimter! This is Sister Woodbury, soon to be your "mission mom"! This is a great blog - you'll have to show me how you do some of the gadgets... I'll see you soon!
Wow! You found James' blog Sister Woodbury! It's his older brother Brian keeping things posted for him. I'm sure Elder James Dimter could show you how to work these blog pages too though! For photos James and I have used photobucket.com, so he can post things as he goes and put an easy link for slideshows. For area markers link I used pinthemap.com, and for the music I used playlist.com. Other than that, I get a lot of the layout content right here from blogspot.com and Elder Dimter's weekly emails.
I'm sure you'll do great things in your years of service! Teach those Elders and Sisters how to lead music. It's a dying talent! It's probably the most useful thing my mission mom taught me in the SLC mission! Tell James how much he's loved by his family when you see him!
